I had a '96 Grand Am SE. Great engines in those things. I hated to sell it.

My wife had a bunch of Grand Am's... 91, 96 and 02 and we never had any problems.

My sister bought an identical one in 02 and had a terrable experience with it. They had to take it back to the dealership 17 times... GM ended up having to take it back under the lemon law.

Worst: 84 Chevy Chevette, just horrible

Best: I have had a lot of really good cars. I never seem to keep them for too long of a time, because there is always something else I want to try out.

84 RX- 7: in my mid twenties, what a fun car, and the best thing was it was so small I never had to drive when we went out drinking because I could only fit one other person in it.

98 BMW M3: Awesome blend of power, handling, and comfort for 4 passengers. probably a tie for my all time favorite.

96 Porsche 911: got this one used for a sweet deal, what a blast to drive. People think these cars are too expensive for maintinence, but Porsche builds these things for racing, they are bulletproof. Never had one problem, and I used the car as it should be. Too bad I lost my job.

Worst: a 1987 Chevrolet S-10. It had nothing in it. No air conditioning, no radio, no power steering, nothing. Then, to make matters worse, a tree fell on it. Yes, I said a tree fell on it. I was in high school at the time, and shortly thereafter the truck was dubbed "The Dent".

Best: My current vehicle - a GMC Yukon. I'd love the Denali, but I'll wait till I drive my current one into the ground. I'm 6'4", 240, and this bitch rides like a dream. I love that truck.

I can remember packing three guys into the hatch to go out drinking during my sophomore year. Traded off some acceleration, but it got us there and back.
