Best Buckeye hits of all time!!

Are you sure that wasn't Darrion Scott? He body-slammed Gesser, along with every other quarterback we played that year.
Looks like you're right... that was a ridiculous hit. Somebody has to put that on the bpWiki profile of his.

Hits that Guys on the Bucks made in college.

These top my list

1) Tito Paul on that kick returner from Michigan St.
2) Andy Katzenmoyer on QB Corby Jones of Missouri
3) Zach Dumas on that receiver or back from I believe Auburn in the Citrus Bowl (Took place out in the flat)

I'm sure Tatum had some monsters back in the day but those are the first that come to the top of my head.

One of my favorite Buckeye memories of all time. It seemed like Paul would try to get at least one of those monster hits early in every game, and then there would be fair catches the rest of the way. Loved it.

Nate Salley was a monster hitter for the bucks, here's a few off the top of my head:

2004 Indiana when he completely laid out Courtney Roby to bust up the pass. Roby just continued to lay there for quite a while, with his arms spread out and his feet together, looked like he'd been crucified.

2005 Miami(OH) when he blasted Josh Betts when Betts tried to run with the ball up the middle.

2005 Minnesota in the last minute of the game before the gophers scored they're last touchdown. Cupito threw it to Rucker at the one yard line and Salley came out of the endzone to make a hit on Rucker and the whiplash of Rucker's head is just massive! Amazingly, Rucker held onto the ball and got a foot in bounds.

Salley had a good hit on Reggie Williams in the 2003 opener against Washington.
