Best Bands Nobody Has Ever Heard of

There will never be a band that is more fun to go see live.
"Happy Boy"!!!!!

as far as my suggestions.....
Duane Burnside is one badass blues mofo-was supposed to see him at Canal Street a few years ago, but he cancelled, unfortunately...........
See-Far-I-Dayton's best white reggae band-they keep it real though, lots of horn, no Jimmy Buffet covers/antics

Really??? Aren't they one of the most popular EMO bands of the past 6-7 years?

I am sure plenty of people have heard them, but I've always like Marvelous 3... too bad Butch Walker went solo

you may be right, but i was just recently introduced to them a month ago or so... had never heard of them before, nor my friends. really not into the whole emo scene, but i really dig their second album.

Not a huge emo fan overall either but the second album is one of the better I own... the Third isn't too bad either... more depth with their music IMO than the crap on the radio

Kind of rediscovered a band recently. They're called Audiovent. The vocalist is the brother of Brandon Boyd from Incubus, and the guitarist is the brother of Mike Einziger of Incubus. So, if you like Incubus, give them a listen. They're no longer a band, but they released a pretty solid album (Dirty Sexy Knights in Paris).

This was their hit.. they have some others that I like more. They can write some catchy shit, and some awesome choruses.

I used to listen to Audiovent back in the day...they are pretty catchy. "Beautiful Addiction" is my fave from the album.

I saw Audiovent open for Foo Fighters several years ago. They were pretty good live.

"Bombay Bicycle Club" is a promising new band. I was just listening to another band called "...And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead". They came out with some good stuff in the early 2000's, then took a couple steps backwards. However, their new album is pretty good.
