Best Albums of 2011 (so far)

Not in love with the Iron & Wine album...it's good but I like other albums of his better.

A couple of mine would be:

The Decemberists - The King Is Dead
...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead - Tao of the Dead

Of the albums already released, still waiting to hear Cut Copy's Zonoscope, Smith Western's Dye It Blonde, British Sea Power's Valhalla Dancefloor, Bright Eye's The People's Key and Radiohead's The King of Limbs.

Albums by Mogwai, Amos Lee, Cake, The Go! Team, Talib Kweli and Destroyer I thought were good but not as good as the ones mentioned above.

A late addition to 2010 was David Banner's collaboration with producer 9th Wonder on the album Death of a Pop Star. It was released in late December and has guest appearances by Eryka Badu, Anthony Hamilton and Ludacris.

Not an album (yet), but there's a new Incubus single. It's solid, though not spectacular. I still miss the SCIENCE/Make Yourself era of Incubus.
