I agree about the Steelers - who do have good momentum going into the play-offs.

As for Jacksonville being a preferred opponent - well, you could just about turn that around completely. I think everyone else in the play-offs is looking at the absence of defense for the Bengals and frankly, fearing the offense less as a result. Sum and substance, they would be one of the preferred teams to meet at the moment.

Marvin has his work cut out this week to get the Bengals up to snuff for these games.

Well I agree the Bengals' defense leaves something to be desired but that's pretty much been the case all season. Obviously, they mailed it in after the first quarter today so I don't think you can take very much from that game.

And forgive me for not being especially impressed by the Steelers today. Playing at home against a 5-10 team, they provided a lot of suspense before finally winning. They barely outgained Detroit 331-308. Big Ben was 7-16 with two INT's and no TD's. And this is a team that needed a win to make the playoffs.

I'm not saying that we're going to roll over them, but I don't really fear Pittsburgh.

You've got to be less than five minutes from my house. In fact, I've probably drove my your house going to Ferari's. We live right on the border of North Strabane and Peters Township. Glad to see a fellow Buckeye/Steelers fan from this neck of the woods on the board.
