Bengals(-1.5) at Ravens

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3563879
Ravens to start Flacco, look at Harrington, Simms, Bouman

The Baltimore Ravens will go with a rookie at quarterback in their opener on Sunday and due to injuries are still looking for depth at the position.

Joe Flacco, the 18th pick overall, will launch his NFL career against the Cincinnati Bengals. There is a chance the two other quarterbacks competing for the job, Troy Smith and Kyle Boller, both will not be available as backups.

Contd....

Palmer - 2-5, 13 yards and an interception
Perry - 8 carries for 21 yards

Wasted great starting field postion twice already.

This team is really, really bad. :smash:

Yeah I saw them at -2 yesterday and threw $20 on them right away, but man has this been tough to watch early on.

6/16 for 45 yards... But don't you think it would be better if Troy won the job rather than getting it by default?

In the NFL, as long as you produce once you get the opportunity, it doesn't matter how you got the job. I couldn't care less if Troy got the job because the competition shit the bed. As long as he performs well enough to keep the job, I don't care how he got it.

And didn't Troy already win the job pretty much before he got sick anyway?

Considering that Smith basicly lost the job because he was sick, don't think it matter how he gets it back.

As for this game....the Bengals offense is killing them. They have looked horrible.
