What changes do you think Ohio State made to their team this year:

For their defense from last year to this year?

well obviously their defense had to incorporate a few new players and get them into the groove. Thankfully Tressel had gotten a lot of these players playing time in the past season so they weren't playing their first snaps ever when they stepped onto the field this year.

For their offense, they are utilizing more 3 and 4 WR sets this year than I can ever remember. Add to that they are running more pull and trap plays in the running game instead of that damn zone blocking scheme that only works against teams like Cincy and Bowling Green.

Now watch I said that and Pittman will run for 300 yards this Saturday using that zone blocking scheme.

He probably will. And Ted Ginn will probably run the trap plays and go out a lil bit to recive. But with that in mind I think we should have a good grasp on Saturday's game.

No a trap play is when the Guard pulls to trap either a linebacker or defensive End, depending on the scheme.

Ginn ran that reverse very well last week. I kinda doubt we'll see that this week, I don't think it will be needed.

What you'll see is vanilla offense, and base defense from here til November 18. The only way you'll see anything interesting is if Tress and Co. want to show something for Ron English to think about (ie running WR Reverses two times in a row)

I agree, nothing special unless they want to give Missagain something to think about.....

I don't follow here....we are talking about 2 entirely different things....

Haha yeah we are my bad. But I understand what you mean. And I agree with both of you that OSU won't do any fancy plays until November 18th because for 1 they can't risk the fact on losing a game.

well I don't know if it will be because they will be close to losing a game. I think it's just because they don't want to give Missagain a lot to go on other than their basic stuff.
