Beat Michigan, Win B10, and win another BCS Bowl

We have a slim chance to play for the NC. That being said we need to move on a compete for a spot in a BCS game. I would like another trip to the Fiesta Bowl. That Bowl game has been good to us in the past. We still have alot to play for. Move on and hope for the best.

Like everyone predicted before. Whoever won this game has the fast inside track to the NC. Bucks need some help, actually a lot of help (really, can anyone see USC losing?).Some things need to be changed and corrected here at OSU though.

Man it would have been so great to win that game. :(

I would like to see Texas run the table, and have a rematch against us in the Rose Bowl. Texas is the only team I see with a legit shot at going undefeated. The condoms will lose at least one game this year, maybe two.
I feel sorry for San Diego State.

As for a rematch, I hate rematches. Lose and you prove not only that you didn't beat that Texas, but that you can't beat Texas. Win and you prove - well, I don't think you prove anything.

no, if we had gone 1 loss in 03 we still would not have played for a nc that year. we weren't an attractive team and wouldn't have gotten the votes.

a rematch is a very bad idea. even if we win decisevly the win would be considered tainted and many "experts" would dub it a split nc between tOSU and texas.

this year, anything less than a trip to the rose bowl was a let down. winning the big 10 and a bcs bowl will be great and memorable. but with the talent we have on both sides of the ball... this was the team tressel was supposed to use to prove that 02 wasn't a fluke. jury is still out sadly.

Actually in week 13, OSU was 4th in the AP, 4th in the Coaches Poll. At the time Michigan was sitting in 5th in both polls as well. Every team above us had 1 loss, except for Oklahoma. A win over #5 Michigan would have vaulted us atop to #2 or #3, giving a great argument for the NC game, we could had played LSU,Oklahoma, or USC for the National title. If you remember, that year their was a showdown in two games for the National Champ -LSU vs. Oklahoma, USC vs. Michigan. We easily would have been the substitute for Michigan, or played Oklahoma with LSUs spot. We had a legit chance at the National Title.

Going into the the scUM game in 2003, tOSU was #2 in the BCS poll. We had just jumped LSU after our OT victory against Purdue. The media made a big stink about it yada yada yada. But going into 2003 scUM game, tOSU was #2 in the BCS poll, so a win over scUM would have put our 11-1 Bucks in the national title game against Chokelahoma.
