If we put the ball on the ground 4 or 5 times and throw 4 or 5 picks, then yes it is possible you will win by 17.

The last over/under I saw was 51. If I was a betting man, I'd bet the under. I look for the margin of victory to be 4 points.

If LSU turns the ball over 8 to 10 times you'll likely get beat by 47 instead of 17

Now you're getting really stupid. You'd have to commit 8-10 turnovers for us to possibly win by 17? Funny, you only turned the ball over twice against Tennessee and were trailing 14-13 in the fourth quarter. Tell you what, if you turn the ball over even six times you'll get blown out. Same would happen to us if we did.

You are correct. I don't know if it was a reaction to the flu shot, snow & cold, a run of senior moments, or outright stupidity, but I didn't have my A game yesterday. If we turn it over 8 - 10 times you kill us.

Dispatch

Court adjourned so parties can cheer LSU in title game

Saturday, December 22, 2007 3:07 AM

NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- Just how seriously do folks around here take their college football? A state judge near the home of LSU has agreed to postpone a trial scheduled to start on the same day as the Tigers' appearance in the national championship game.
Stephen Babcock, an attorney defending Imperial Casualty Insurance Co. in a lawsuit over a car crash, requested the delay because he has tickets to the game against Ohio State on Jan. 7 in New Orleans.
In his written request, Babcock refers to Ohio State as "Slowhio" ("due to their perceived lack of speed on both sides of the ball"). He wrote, "All counsel to this matter unequivocally agree that the presence of LSU in the aforementioned contest of pigskin skill unquestionably constitutes good grounds therefore."

Continued....

That is a good one........I have never heard it before. You know what I like about this Babcock guy, it's his fresh material. I mean, who would have the wit to come up with such a zinger? Wow, "Slowhio", combining slow and Ohio into one tasty little word.....that is fucking precious. What will those crazy cajuns think of next?

The Ohio State University football team will be leaving Columbus shortly after noon on Tuesday, December 25th. The early departure is not to arrive in New Orleans far in advance of the game, which doesn't kick off until January 8th, rather an attempt to arrive minutes before the game begins. The schedule change was necessary due to the lack of speed by the Buckeyes fitting mode of transportation.

Good to see you're back to your senses. :wink2:

My whole point was that with two teams like ours, if one is on and one is off, the margin can be considerably more than expected (see our game against Florida).

Mahalo. I hope both teams bring their A games on the 7th. If they do it should be an incredibly competitive game.
