Yeah, Congrats LSU.

Tressel needs to dump Beckman.

Lets pray for some Pryor action...seriously though I dont know what to think. This should of been a rebuilding year for us and we made it back. On the other hand I would have rather lost another game in the Big Ten and not be embarassed on this level again. Hopefully most our juniors stay and our QB situation gets stronger next year. As far as our D goes its two years in a row we put up huge numbers against B10/in state opponents and get rolled against the SEC...we have lost credibility till we can prove otherwise.

For such a high standards board before the game it has turned ugly. Dont be so sore. LSU is a good team. The tigers may not be faster than you guy:osu:s but on TV it sure looked like it, esp. on Defense. Good LUCK next year! GEAUX TIGERS, P.S. You guys will be loaded next season.

Who cares what the pundits say. We are Ohio State and no one can take that away. I love this team.

Oh come let's sing Ohio's praise
And songs to Alma Mater raise
While our hearts rebounding thrill
With joy which death alone can still
Summer's heat or winter's cold
The seasons pass the years will roll
Time and change will surely (truly) show
How firm thy friendship ... OHIO!
These jolly days of priceless worth
By far the gladdest days on earth
Soon will pass and we not know
How dearly we love Ohio
We should strive to keep thy name
Of fair repute and spotless fame
So in college halls well grow
And love thee better ... OHIO! Though age may dim our mem'ry's store
We'll think of happy days of yore
True to friend and frank to foe
As sturdy sons of Ohio
If on seas of care we roll
Neath blackened sky or barren shoal
Thoughts of thee bid darkness go
Dear Alma Mater...OHIO!

Congrats to LSU. I was more disappointed with the team last year. This was to be our rebuilding year so it's nice to get into the title game. Fact is LSU made plays when we blundered. I just wish these kids realize how few times you get chances like this twice in a career. There are plenty of people that don't get to see teams make a title run in their life time. I've been lucky in that I've seen 3 title games for my Buckeyes. I just hope that before my time is through I get to see another National Championship that we win.
Very disappointed right now. Good luck to that Admins. you will probably be busy tonight. Thanks to Clarity for having this site so I can vent a little frustration. Maybe next year but right now I doubt it. Oh well GO BUCKS, Michigan still sucks! :(

The players on this team were good enough to win all of their games including this one. It just seemed that we changed our MO in spite of ourselves on several occasions this year and paid the price. I for one, seriously hope that coach Tressel re-examines his staff and the way we handle the big games. Tressel is God against michigan and that gives him some lee-way but losing big in back-to-back national title games has left a seriously sour taste in the Buckeyes collective mouths. Please regroup boys there is always next year and keep your class!

No class running up the score like that. Leslie Miles must still be sore about the 33-7 whipping we put on his boys back in 2004.

Agreed - that was totally classless - Weis-like in it's classlessness really.

Despite which - congratulations to LSU, I had you as the top team coming into the season, and here you are, tops at the end of the same.

Congrats to LSU, just wasn't our night.

I still think 11-2 with a NC game appearence was a better than expected showing for the year from this team considering what we were trying to replace after last season, Tress and company did a good job to get our guys this far. No way in hell I would have predicted another title shot in August, and I was cautiously optimistic at best about winning the Big 10 with our road schedule.

I always, always hate watching the Buckeyes lose but you gotta look at the big picture at times like this. We're in great shape even with another NC game loss. We will probably finish in the top 5 and are headed in the right direction recruiting and program-leadership wise. How many teams' fanbases would kill for a season like this?
