I was talking to a friend at work today about FOX’s new BCS commercial where the Ohio State player throws the Michigan player off of the “BCS ladder”. He hadn’t seen it and I’ve only seen it once so I tried to find it online, I was just wondering if anyone else had seen it.
 
Anyone happen to catch what I think was a new BCS commercial last weekend? I was watching the Bucks at a local bar with multiple tvs, and I noticed a commercial during the Penn State - Illinois game that consisted of a pick-up truck with the national championship trophy in the back being chased by the mascots of teams in the BCS hunt. Everything from a tiger to a mountaineer jumping off of a mountain along the road to an enormous buckeye bouncing along the road towards the end. I didn't get a great look at it, but the graphics were pretty cool. I've searched the web and BP and haven't seen any mention of it... maybe I'm just making it up.

Not to hijack this thread but isnt the nickname "Buckeyes" originally named from the tree itself, not the pointless poisonous nut? As an aside, I LOATHE brutus and wish they would either update him or just plant him. Not that I want a tree like stanford walking around as a mascot....just saying.

You're not making it up. It's actually for the Heisman trophy (which Nissan is sponsoring this year), not the BCS... Notice that the Buckeye is dominating :wink:
