Just some discussion on the topic...with USC being out, the really frees up 2 at larges. Who will it go to? Iowa and Boise?

It'll be all about the money because it will be up to the bowl. The Rose will be locked. The Sugar loses a rep. Texas could be an auto bid to the NCG and open the fiesta. Likelihood is that Pitt/Cincy winner takes the Big East berth, unless Texas loses and Cincy makes the Title. If Pitt wins and is Cincy's only loss they could be an at-large. ACC will auto go to the Orange now. Then TCU and Boise followed by LSU/Iowa.

Since picks were locked at 12 on sat... sorry Scarlet...

Ohio State-Oreg/Stan/Ariz/Oreg St:Rose
GT-:Orange
UF/ALA-:Sugar
:Fiesta
UF/ALA-TEX/Cin/TCU:NCG

So by the look of it, 5 openings(including Sugar replacement) and 3 teams to fill them. 2 spots for Boise/LSU/Iowa/Wisc/PSU/OK ST/PITT. The killer to the 2 loss teams like LSU, IOWA, etc would be if Pitt beat Cincy and they both had one loss. It would then probably be Boise and Cincy.

I just don't know if I could see the BCS taking two small schools like that. If it's really all about money, then I could see them taking Penn State and Oklahoma State and saying screw you to Boise State. Also...USC is lurking at #18. If they can beat UCLA and Arizona, they may creep into the top 14, and then they'd be allowed to be selected. If USC is in the top 14, the BCS will take them. They couldn't pass up on all the money that USC would generate.

I am hoping for BCS chaos. I want to see Texas lose to Kansas this weekend. Then see Florida lose to Florida State, but win the SEC championship. Then Cincinnati, TCU and Boise State are the only undefeated teams in the country. That would be chaos.

I think it will be hard for them to take a 3 loss team over an undefeated team especially with the talks of a possible MWC and WAC merge that would help the BCS down the road.

TCU-Boise St = horse shit.

That sucks for both of those teams. All they want is a shot at a big dog, and they're not going to get it. What else can they do besides blow out EVERY opponent?

Florida v. TCU
GTech v. Boise St.
Iowa vs. Cincy

That's what it should have been.

From a quick look over, it looks hard for 'BusNative to get passed up. Alot of his winners match the others possible winners of other players, but we will see how it plays out. It is always nice to lose at a game that I created:(.

I picked Alabama, Bus picked Texas. So I think if Iowa beats GT, then it would come down to that game.

Also sng had perfect picks...but they came a week later than ours. Still a nice job by him though, but it would have been a lot easier to predict what was going to happen after that week.

Nate: In your first post you said a max of 15 points could be scored. Was that an error in how the scoring would actually work?
