Baylor Bears (cluster)

Russell vouched for Oakman & said he's going through tough time

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww...poor baby. I feel so bad for him. Really. It just makes life so hard for you when you're identified as a rapist.

But, before the rape, Oakman was always excited to get a big rib-eye steak to grill or to get his favorite snack. Now, he barely consumes any food and eats only to exist. These charges have broken and shattered him in so many ways. Who's the real victim here?

Meanwhile, Pryor was just recently allowed back on campus after an exile for the horrendous crime of......um........oh, that's right, no actual crime was committed or accused, just a simple infraction of a certain club's set of very subjectively enforced rules.

Sorry for the derailment.

Back to that bastion of morality which is Baylor.

"He's a great guy, just in a bad situation," Baylor quarterback Seth Russell told the Dallas Morning News on Monday. "We're not gonna hold anything against him. He was part of the team and he's still part of Baylor. We're going to love him as much as anybody else."

Translation: Shawn initially declined our advances, which means we're going to "love" him even harder.

Is the answer Jim Paterno?
