Baylor +4.5 vs Duke (ov/un 139.5) Sun 5 ET

Apparently he is leaving until a better seat on the bandwagon opens up. Meanwhile, when he gets tired of his seat on the Duke bandwagon he can jump on the Lakers one. And of course, as has been mentioned before, when the NBA is done there is always the Yankees.

And Bus Native, I know how you feel. The first weekend of the tourney was incredible, but its been "meh" at best since. Some nice highlights, but overall sorta "meh".

You guys are tough to please.

There wasn't a game all weekend that wasn't worth watching down to the final minutes. And only two in the entire set of regionals that could be called blow outs.

There may be gripes about some of the coaches remaining, but the basketball has been top notch.

Besides, with the Bucks out you gotta have a bad guy to root against - and the Yankees don't play basketball.

...nor do the Dallas Cowboys. Also Notre Dame and KY Jelly are out. UNC is in the NIT, Billy Packer is not calling the games and a Big Ten team has a decent shot at grabbing the brass ring.

Like you, I thought it was an exciting set of games. Saw the refs call "palming" and traveling more than once, calls that haven't been made in the NBA since 1958.

JMO but Tom Izzo may be the best coach in the country based on my 'Performance - Talent = Quality' equation.

Duke has an inside presence this year that it has lacked for the past ten. Zoubek has improved to become a highly competent NCAA center, and the Plumlees add some depth and toughness to the equation. Singler has always IMO been an underrated player.

I'm picking the Blue Devils to win it all.

Oh, I don't mean to imply that the quality of basketball has been "meh", just that it hasn't been a big draw, especially with OSU out.

And the only two teams I'm interested in are playing each other, Butler and MSU.

But you are absolutely correct, the quality of the basketball has been fine. I just haven't been really excited since the Buckeye game.
