No one is saying that Duke isn't possibly better than WVU, but to act like Duke is on a whole other level is just stupid.

Teams don't just play that poorly for no reason, WVU had a lot to do with it.

WVU has beaten OSU, Kentucky, Georgetown twice (who Duke lost to), and Villanova. I'd say that's a team that's going to hold it's own against anyone. And Purdue would have beaten Duke if they had Hummel so trying to act like WVU's loss to them somehow proves that Duke is better is pretty dumb.

Again, not saying that Duke isn't better...I don't know that. But to act like they are the Class of this tournament all of the sudden is wrong.

Good Lord...y'all are taking what I'm saying entirely the wrong way...

It's not about Duke being better than WVU.

Personally, I don't really know how to compare the two teams' resumes at this point. As mentioned earlier they are very similar.

It's about match-ups...that's what the tournament is about...

Of course much of UK's problems had to do with WVU, nobody is saying that they weren't...I'm just saying that it's not as simple as saying UK is a great team, WVU beat a great team. Therefore WVU must be as great as if not equal to UK. (I know none of you are saying that)

Kentucky played HORRIBLE. WVU played sloppy. WVU won the game because they were good enough to keep things in their favor. Simple stuff really...

Both Baylor and Duke are playing stellar basketball right now and given their style of play they both match up EXTREMELY well against WVU. WVU's weaknesses play to both Duke and Baylor's strengths.

One of these teams will be playing WVU...that's what these posts have been about...

If you think I'm trying to sell Duke into the NC game, I'm not.

I honestly don't believe they're going to beat Baylor tonight...if they do I'll be pleasantly surprised...

...what I'm saying is that these two teams in this game have the hottest teams in the tournament and match up extremely well against WVU.

damn, you are a dim one. if you claim that one team isn't nearly the caliber of another, you are claiming that one is on a whole other level and is head-and-shoulders better. that is what the expression means. do you really not understand that?

yeah, duke is really, really hot. beating a 4-seed purdue without its best player, an 8-seed washington, and a 16-seed arkansas-pine bluff truly proves how hot duke is. :lol:

Bingo. Saying things like "...far ahead of the rest of the pack" combined with "WVU...nearly the calibur of team [as Duke & Baylor]" you do in fact thing Duke or Baylor is by far the best teams left in the tourny.
