Surprised this doesn't have a thread yet (at least none I could see or find in the search).

Right now it sits at 95 on Metacritic with 26 reviews. From the reviews I have read, it seems like an incredible game. Of course I ordered it for PC so I have to wait another 2+ weeks (not sure how I will play both this and BF3). Comes out on console Tuesday.

wanna play this game so bad...never played Asylum though, and don't wanna go and just buy it...maybe since Arkham is out, I can find Asylum for cheap somewhere

You could probably rent and beat Asylum in a week.

Kmart has a nice deal on this game as well.
http://gamer.kmart.com/2011/10/save-game-12/
Starting 10/18 and ending 10/22, Shop Your Way Reward Members will receive a $30 gaming coupon with the purchase of Batman Arkham City for PS3 or XB360 for $59.99. You will also receive a bonus $10 gaming coupon good towards Warner’s highly anticipated Lord of the Rings: War in the North (which will have a $20 gaming coupon with it when it launches in November).

That’s right, one more time, a $30 gaming coupon. Instore only. The coupon automatically prints at the register once the game is purchased and your SYWR card is scanned.

The coupon is valid from 10/23 through 12/3, if you can’t find a game that comes out then that you don’t like, or you can’t find a deal on Black Friday worth the money, then shame on you.

Just saw a walmart commercial where you can get Arkham Asylum for free if you buy Arkham City in store.

Yep, thats what I did. My previous post was wrong; it wasn't just a midnight deal. My local Walmart stilll has 30+ copies of the bundle pack.

Alternatively, you can pick up AA on amazon for $20 (X360) or $25 (PS3) used.

I highly recommend getting Asylum. Please, please do.

Honestly, it is an amazing game. I was blown away, played it for about 3 days straight and it kept my interest.

You won't regret it.

Seriously, how much fun is this game? I'll play for a couple hours, tell my wife that I'm Batman, and then get taken down a couple rungs when she tells me to clean up something. And as I do this, I think, "Bullshit. I'm Batman."

Just today, I walked into the kitchen, punched a box of cereal off the counter and the wife says, "The FUCK!!??!" Followed by me replying, "I'm the goddamn Batman."

Then I channeled my inner Robin and cleaned up.
