Not sure if anyone remember, but I made a 97.1 app for the iphone that was way better than the stupid m97.com website. Of course, their legal hounds got on my arse and made me pull it. They still havent made a quality iphone app for their feed, but whatever... anyways...
I now made an iphone app that tracks baseball standings in a golf scorecard model.
It's pretty nifty but niche.
Basically, 162 games in one season is a long time, break it up into 18 ?holes? and you have yourself a scorecard of every 9 games being a hole.For par, it figures that to make the playoffs a team would need about 90 wins (72 losses). That may not always get you into the playoffs but it?s not fun to have to change the goalposts based on the wildcard race so settling on that number is sufficient. Every 9 games, a team should attempt 5 wins and 4 losses or better to better their overall scorecard.
