I don't think I've given any indication that you should not be able to express an opinion. It would seem to me that StadiumDorm is more likely to ask that question than you.

He stated he didn't think something was funny, and was called a 'fucking pussy' - pretty strong words in my book.

I only questioned whether it was warranted to call somebody a name like that for expressing an opinion. To me, I'm raising the discussion of whether or not we want members of the board to expect the possibility of being called a name like that. He simply expressed a difference of opinion and got blasted for it.

I don't believe that I blasted you for what you did, I'm just asking if you or everybody else thinks it's fine to blast somebody else. I don't know the history between you and StadiumDorm, but it didn't appear to be a friendly jest.

To me, being called a 'fucking pussy' is pretty strong words for just saying that something wasn't very funny.

And sorry it took a while for me to respond, Thump, I was getting treatment for a yeast infection. :biggrin:

Let's not have the thread deteriorate into a litany of finger-pointing at past offenses.

I believe that all of us need to keep in mind the comments behind the title of the 'Open Forum' (bold added):

"Any topic (within reason) is appropriate here as long as they can be discussed with at least a degree of tact, civility, and respect for differing opinions."

I concur. And I should also mention, what other users (those who aren't involved in this thread, particularly) have said or done in the past is irrelevant here.
