Bar Owner Sent To Prison After Drink Kills Patron

HUTCHINSON, Kan. -- The former owner of a bar in Kansas has been sentenced to nearly four years in prison, for the death of a woman who died of alcohol poisoning.

Prosecutors said Juanita Goodpasture, 31, died after she was served a red, yellow and green concoction called the "Stoplight Challenge."

The $15 drink was so potent that prosecutors said people who bought it were given their money back and a T-shirt if they could remain coherent 30 minutes after consuming it.

Billy Scott, 34, apologized to Goodpasture's family at his sentencing Thursday. He was convicted of involuntary manslaughter last month.

Goodpasture had a blood alcohol content of 0.43 when she was found dead at her home in July of last year.

Mix 1 oz. of melon liquor and 1 oz. of vodka (can use Apple Pucker Schnapps in place of melon) into shaker, shake well, strain into a rocks glass

That's nothing. They were talkinga bout the ingredients on John Corby's show and all came to the conclusion that she must have drank more than just that drink to have that BAC.

Hell we all have drank more than that and then played ice hockey or roller derby.

We never used to use the 151, but for fuck's sake .43...

Did they make this shit in coke glasses?

and yes, barring all that. I would own about 40 of those t-shirts.

We used to drink those all the time, it was the standard birthday shot, and the bartender was oblidged to partake with the birthday person.
