Bank robber stops at liquor store, food store, before getaway on bus

A man who robbed a south Minneapolis bank Monday afternoon made the liquor store his next stop, then went into a sandwich shop and finally made his getaway on a bus.

Step 1: Rob Bank
Step 2: Grab some booze from a store near the bank.
Step 3: Hrm, all this work has made me want a sandwich.
Step 4: Ooh, my getaway BUS is here, better get on.

And he gets away, Minnesota police we all love you!

And he gets away, Minnesota police we all love you!

That's nothing. Compare to the Nichols shooting here in Atlanta a coupla years ago. Dude shoots a judge, court reporter, and a deputy, then hops on MARTA for awhile. Later shoots an off-duty federal officer in Buckhead.

...fast-forward a few months...

Dude tries to get a token from a MARTA machine, but it won't work. Another guy, seeing his dilemma, and having had the same problem with that machine but finally found one that worked, offered him a token. The dude gives him a buck for it, and he accepts. A MARTA cop arrested the good Samaritan on the spot: it's illegal for anyone other than MARTA to sell MARTA tokens!

Murder a judge, ride the train
