Actually, every team left on their schedule except Georgia State will be coming off a bye when they play Alabama.

Correction, even Georgia State has a bye heading into their game against 'Bama, as a matter of fact they have 12 days between games (Saturday Nov. 6th and then the Thursday night game against the Tide on the 18th (odd scheduling???)).

They could have 366 days (we'll give them a leap year :p) and I don't think it would matter.

So, every team playing Alabama from here on out will have an extra week to prepare.

Saban: Wide receiver Jones broke hand vs. S. Carolina

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Alabama receiver Julio Jones broke his hand against South Carolina and his status for the Crimson Tide's game Saturday against Mississippi is uncertain.

Right tackle D.J. Fluker has a groin injury and will miss at least a week.
Coach Nick Saban said Monday that Jones was injured in the first half of Alabama's 35-21 loss at South Carolina and had a plate and screw inserted. The coach says whether Jones can return for Saturday's home game will be based on his pain tolerance.

Jones did not play after the injury. He is leading the team with 32 catches for 440 yards and three touchdowns.
