Bama -6.5 at LSU (ov/un 44.5) 3:30 ET, CBS

107 million vbucks lost to the Hat

I was happy to lose most of those.

Great game by MIles today. A couple of bold calls that worked, and no WTF moments on clock management.

The fake punt, the 4th down reverse, and the 3rd down pass late with Lee at QB all took some brass, and they all worked like a charm.

Before the snap, Les Miles reached down and scooped a few blades of
Tiger Stadium grass. Then, he placed them in his mouth like a pinch of chaw.
Yes. With 92,969 watching in Tiger Stadium and millions more watching on
CBS, in a critical moment of a season-making game, LSU's coach ate grass.

Just goes to prove you are only as good as your last game.

Before the Alabama game: Time running out for LSU

?There must have been two calls,? Miles said when asked Tuesday night about the fourth-and-six play. ?It was unbelievably loud, and whether it all was communicated I certainly don?t know. I don?t understand why Shepard came off.?
Shouldn?t Miles have found out how many play calls were made or what Shepard was doing maybe on the plane ride back home after the Auburn game or in staff meetings Sunday, Monday or Tuesday? As the head coach, it seems like he?d at least be curious and ask, ?Hey, what happened on that play??
At times, LSU?s offense looks so poorly drilled in games that it makes one wonder if they practice. Judging from these Miles? comments, it makes one wonder if he goes to staff meetings or if his headphones connect to anything. At times, talking about LSU football with Miles is like talking LSU football with a casual observer. He seems detached from it all.

After the Alabama game: Great Win for the Tigers and Miles!

It was a great day to be in Tiger Stadium yesterday. Coach Miles and the Tigers put together a terrific effort for a big win. It was nice to leave the stadium knowing we had out-coached an opponent. It?s the first time we?ve been able to say that, since the inception of this website last November.

Now they (LSU fans) probably want to give him a 10 year extension on his contract at LSU.
