So I took little Jax to Camden Yards to see his first game there this Saturday.

He caught a HR ball during BP, saw a walk off HR in the bottom of the 10th and we ended up in the middle of a riot, which is nice.

I'd imagine. I'll be honest, the Inner Harbor isn't bad but you get into some really nasty areas really fast - I'm shocked no one was shot in the riot itself.

Yeah they beat the shit out of Wade Miley today which was nice...when they get Hardy and Schoop back if Paredes keeps hitting this lineup could be pretty good. Gotta fix their pitching though.

This team isn't very good (yet), but they are only 4 games out of 1st in the uber-shitty AL (L)east....

If they can get Norris back to where he was last year and if Gonzalez/Chen/Tillman pitch well, they have the best rotation in the aforementioned uber-shitty AL East. Now if only they could get some consistent offense from someone other than Adam Jones and whoever the hell Jimmy Paredes is...

yeah....nevermind about that - the AL East sucks but they are the Red Sox are going to be fighting for last place all year.

I really look for Davis (no way they're going to pay him) and Chen to probably be traded before the deadline. This really is beginning to look like a year that they'll trade away the higher priced players and build around Jones/Tillman/Machado/Gonzalez.

And if someone comes by and asked for a trade for Ubaldo I don't think they'd say no....

Since I missed it...the Orioles DFA'd De Aza...way to pay a guy $5 million after using him as a rental last year only to pass on Aoki (.323/.394/.405 with 12 SBs) who is better than anything they've trotted out in LF all year long :smash:

I feel badly for Buck - it's all going to fall on him instead of Duquette and that idiot Angelos.

And they went 2-11 in that stretch and have done 5-15 overall in the past 20. Maybe they can spoil the Skankees getting into the playoffs (which would require Texas or Houston to unfuck themselves enough to overtake them in the WC race when the other wins the division....

So yeah....they signed Davis to the stupidest contract since the Skankees resigned A-roid.

they'll hang around .500 for the year, waste the twilight of Adam Jones peak and it's all downhill from this year on...I just hope they either resign Machado long term or let him go to a contender so he doesn't waste his career playing for a scumbag like Angelos....
