Failed to score 30 pts minimum only 3 times. Surrendered more than 14 points only four times, more than 17 points only once.

Big 10 finished that 1998/99 Bowl Season with a perfect 5-0 record, including Michigan defeating Arkansas (SEC runner-up), Ohio State defeating Texas A&M (Big-12 champs) and Wisconsin defeating UCLA (Pac-10 champs). For good measure, Purdue defeated Michael Bishop's KSU juggernaut (Big-12 runner-up), and Penn State defeated the Hal Mumme/Mike Leach designed Air Raid offense headed by Tim Couch at Kentucky.

Remember, Ohio State, Kansas State, Arizona and even Florida were all as deserving if not more so than FSU and Tennessee were of being in that Fiesta Bowl. The NC stinker pitted FSU, who pioneered from the dawn of the BCS the fact that it's good to lose early (so they've been doing it ever since - why mess with a good formula, huh?) and the worst Tennessee team in the last 10 years.

Being a 75 grad I went with the 73 team. Those 73 74 and 75 teams were so dominant that in most games Archie got his 100 yds usually in the first series of the third quarter and the starters would come out. I still beleve that the lack of playing time for the starters left them vulnerable in the 4th quarter of the few close games hey had. If Woody would've let Archie play like Johnny Majors let Tony Dorsett play he might still be the all-time rushing leader.Also Randy Gradishar maybe the most underated Buck of all time.
