for those of you unaware, they were #5 before getting trounced by unranked hawaii. my dad told me that football season was over after the OSU game. Looks like basketball season will be over soon at this rate

thanks for adding to the ammo I can tease him with. Good thing they also love OSU, and enjoyed watching us beat down scUM. Otherwise yesterday might have pushed him over the edge.

4 of MSU's starters in the BBall game went down with severe cramps and played only sparingly in the 2nd half. While we'd hope that the 2nd string could hold off Hawaii, it just wasn't to be.
For some humor, you might want to check out the meltdown on the Red Cedar Message Board
I'd say it easily overtops the weasels' woes.

I think this thread title needs changed to "Bad Week for Sparty". They just got beat by Gonzaga in 3OT. Looks like Izzo might start reconsidering playing in Hawaii in these early season games/tournaments. I could see the Guardians Classic, or another tournament like that more to his liking next year.

That shirt was horrible! Oddly enough though, every time they showed him in it on t.v. I couldn't help but look at it. Kind of like a fat girl in spandex. Everytime you see one you can't believe you are noticing her. But the more that you try to not look, the more you end up actually glancing!

they shouldn't have even gotten to OT. Gonzaga's dipshit coach doesn't think it's a good idea to foul when they are up 3 with 4 seconds left. The coaching in this game was pathetic.
