B1G Tournament (March 14th-17th) Chicago's United Center

So who would most likely be the #7 seed?

My guess:

Iowa beats Nebraska and gets 6 seed
Illinois loses to Ohio State
Minnesota loses at Purdue

Illinois and Minnesota would fight it for 7 seed. If Minnesota does beat Purdue then either Iowa or Minnesota.

We all know Ohio State will beat Illinois :oh:

Yeah, I'd assume that Iowa would beat Nebraska as well, which would put them at 6 if both Illinois and Minny lose. But who would win a tiebreaker between Illinois and Minnesota to get that 7th seed?

Actually, upon further review the #7 that seems most likely is Purdue, but they would have to beat Minny, and of course Illinois would have to lose to OSU and Iowa would have to beat Nebraska. But I think that is the most likely outcome of those 3 games. Not sure I like seeing Purdue as the team that would be OSU's first game in the BTT, because they seem to have found something the past couple of games with Sandi Marcius (although he had to leave the game vs. UM due to an ankle injury or something like that) and seem to have some momentum.

I would rather play Purdue on the second day then Iowa. Iowa has been playing extremely well the past couple weeks.

Both teams are playing better than Wiscy, Illinois and Minny down the stretch.
