B1G CCG BMW Thread: #1 tOSU vs #2 Indiana

Yuk! Yuk! Am old enough that remember when tOSU v Hoosier game was a toughie, merely because the Hoosiers roster was filled with Ohioans that were not recruited by the Buckeyes. Well, the years have morphed a bunch, and with NIL/portal, anyone can build a roster, and Indiana has done it very well over the last two years. Lindy's had them at #32 pre-season, but apparently they've outplayed that rating. Think it'll be a good game, and as always, will be won in the trenches. Would like to see Mendoza plunked on his keister more than several times. Kinda hard to complete passes from a prone position. And, certainly, would be happy to see tOSU's cobbled together OL keep Sayin's jersey clean. Buckeyes, 35-10.

I watched the Hoosiers push Oregon all over Austin Stadium and dominate them in the second half. Pretty sure this will be the Bucks toughest game of the season. I just don't see how either team or the Big Ten benefits from playing it, especially if it keeps one of the teams from being seeded.
I think this game requires OSU to get in front early to keep IU's confidence in check. They are sitting in Bloomington truly believing that they are maybe not as deep but a better starting 22. I think carrying a small lead into halftime and scoring on the opening possession of q3 will make them 1 dimensional and we can tee off on mendoza

Agreed. This is easily the best Oline we have faced. Probably the the best QB, and maybe the best defense. I am just worried the Boys come out a little sluggish after THE GAME. They will take over in the second half IMO. 24-17.

I think the loser doesn't drop below #3. That would mean a potential re-match would only be in the NatIonal Title Game.

If UGA Wins, they’d be #2, but I don’t think Texas Tech or anybody else should go ahead of the loser of this game on Saturday.

No way does the loser drop out of a first round bye. So the question is, how hard does a team need to try to win it?

They run the ball well, but they have allowed a lot of pressure to get to Mendoza.
