very correct about the ND depth chart. ND will return 4 of their 5 starters and already has 2 OL committed for this year.
ND 's offense is good this year but next year look out....

we'll do that. b/c offense wins championships, just ask your opponents (Purdue, UM, MSU). better call up aaron so he can rethink his decision.ND 's offense is good this year but next year look out....
Yeah, they said that back in '02...1902.ND 's offense is good this year but next year look out....
but next year look out....
Btw, the Brown's are crazy if they really believe Aaron will walk in and be a 3 years and done player at any of his top choices. I've seen him play, and he is not even CLOSE to being college-ready right now; he's a great athlete with a lot of potential, and I hope he chooses OSU, but this is NOT Orlando Pace.
Hopefully this board can be classy, respect Aaron's decision wherever it may be, and congratulate him on his decision. After all, regardless where he goes to school, he is from OHIO and will always be a buckeye.
Maybe just not the Buckeye we wanted him to be.:)

None of us are offering Aaron a schollie. I have had the privilege to speak and listen to some of the coaches (this week and last week) who are and they don't share those concerns about Aaron and his abilty. As a matter of fact, at least a couple had virtually promised Aaron the opportunity to play significantly if not start early. Now the coaches could be feeding the Browns a bunch of bull just to get Aaron to sign on the dotted line, but that wouldn't be mutually benificial.

Umm... Notice the difference between "buckeye" (lowercase) and "Buckeye" (capitalized proper noun)? Madville was noting the difference between being an Ohioan (buckeye) and an affiliate of The Ohio State University/OSU Athletics (Buckeye). Regardless of how much some of us (myself included) wish it were the case, not being a Buckeye (proper noun) doesn't make you any less of a buckeye (nickname for Ohioans in general).Quote:

This board will congratulate and respect his decision, but just because he is from Ohio doesn't mean he will be buckeye if he chooses to go elsewhere.
Do you consider Desmond Howard to be a Buckeye? No.
What about Fred Davis? No.
Aaron Brown? Not unless he signs with tOSU.
As for his decision, its his, I hope he enjoys his time in college and has a good career.

Agreed - Ronnie Wilson is more of a Buckeye than Aaron Brown. Wilson wanted to come to Ohio State, but didn't get an offer; Brown got the offer, but chose to leave town.Simply being from Ohio does not make one a Buckeye. Craig Krenzel was from the state up north, yet he is a Buckeye.
As with others, I will respect whatever decision the Brown's have made for Aaron and wish him the best with his college career as well as his academics. But considering him to still being a Buckeye simply because he is from Ohio is not something I can do.
