Well I didn't think I saw this thread posted.

So it's a little late going into the second week of the first Grandslam of the year, but is there anybody else who is keeping up and who thinks will win?

I think Federer is going to take this again for the Mens, he's quite phenominal.

And for the Women I'm hoping Davenport can win it.
 
Agassi will take a set from Federer, but after that I don't see anyone else being able to. Maybe ROddick could also take a set, but it's Federer in 3 (or 4).


As for the women, I think one of the Russians will win it, and the Williams sisters will realize they either need to step it up even further or retire.

Federer is the obvious pick on the men's side, he's currently tied for the 4th longest match winning streak ever. I think Agassi will have a chance if they don't close the roof due to the heat. Agassi is from and still lives in Vegas so he should be used to the heat. If he can extend the match in the heat, Federer may wilt. Match is on at 3AM EST or something like that. Overall, I'm rooting for Roddric

On the women's side, Davenport is kind of a sentimental favorite for me as well. She may have a chance if she gets the right matchups.

Overall, I'm rooting for Roddric and Davenport, followed by any American. I really hope Hewitt doesn't win, I can't stand that prick.

Yeah, it's on the other side of the world so they are 50 hours ahead of us or something like that. Just one of the four grand slam events, nothing important. It's on ESPN2 when there's nothing on TV except for commercials for Ronco products and Girls Gone Wild videos.
