Falcons release RB Jerious Norwood, who promptly tore his ACL and is out for the season upon hearing the news.

Falcons have also resigned OLB Mike Peterson, a vital locker room leader who has organized all defensive off season practices.

Pro-Bowl CB is all that's left to resign from the defense. Still looking to add a DE to the mix.

Will not resign punter M.K. as he has agreed to a deal with the Bucs

Released Michael Jenkins and Jaamal Anderson to free up more than 8 million dollars in cap space, most likely to aquire a pass rusher. They tried to shop Jenkins for a trade but there were no takers.

It was a good run with Michael and hope he gets on a good team. Always a Buckeye!
