While I'm prepared to give serious congrats to Megatron for the
Upcoming record. To me - its just not as impressive in this day
And age with 'this' NFL. Rice's numbers will always be more
Meaningful to me.

Again, taking nothing away from Calvin - he is a special, special talent.

Congrats to him. Not quite on Jerry Rice's level, but still pretty damn impressive.

On the one hand the culture and rules of the league didn't allow passing to flourish as much much then as it does now. On the other hand the ball gets spread around to more receiving options and Johnson doesn't have nearly as good of a quarterback or supporting cast around him.
