i only vaguely fit the description of my sign.
my wife even less so to her sign.
my oldest son isn't even close to his sign's description.

my 7 year old son however:

Way back when, maybe 1996 or so, I took a philosophy of science class at Ohio State. Somehow, astrology was brought up one day, and there were a few ardent believers.

When they described the "science" of astrology and that it was the gravity of the stars, I explained that due to proximity I had more gravitational impact upon them. When I mentioned that the Earth's axis has tilted since the signs were ascribed, and therefore everyone was really one sign off based on the stars in the sky at their birth, the astrologers got really pissed. The whole thing is ridiculous.

Astrology, like religion, is not to be analyzed. At least not if one wants to actually believe in it.
