Assistant Coach Tim Hinton (Official Thread)

The question needs to be asked. Is our TE recruiting "issues" in part because of Hinton? Is he just not a great recruiter? As a coach he is fine. But as a recruiter?

Hinton is a damn good recruiter, he killed it at ND and also helped bring in Baugh, who had offers from everyone. It remains to be seen if he can bring in Clark or Boykin this year. Not to mention a lot of times coaches will recruit by region and not by position, so I'm not even sure how involved Hinton is in recruiting the TEs.
