I was shocked that Nate only played the first quarter.

Buzz out of practice is that Riley is definitely the better quarterback. Whether or not it is because of Nate's ankle is unknown.

The players love Riley, and now we know that Tedford does, too.

The only reason I can think of is if they make the 2 pointer, that makes the score 42-38. Recover the onside kick, score a TD, kick the PAT and they are up by 3. If that wasn't the thought process then I have no clue. :biggrin:

Good point... now let's look at the pessimistic side. They go for 2 and miss (which they did)... score is now 42-36. Recover the onside kick, score a TD and MISS the PAT. The score is now tied instead of being up by 1. True you still have a chance to win in OT (unless you are LSU :wink:) but I'd rather be up by 1 and make the other team press.
