I was privileged to see Arlo Guthrie and his Family last night and I can honestly say I was blown away. This is the second time I've seen him, the first in 2004. This time his daughter, Sarah Leigh, was with him and she is outstanding. She sounds like several country music stars rolled into one.
Arlo, more than just an outstanding musician, is a great storyteller. He links the Woody Guthrie time and characters with today. This in itself is special and noteworthy.
He has an excellent new album called; "Arlo Guthrie Live in Sydney".
