Is he being considered? Maybe not the worst option but if you’re going to hire a coach with baggage (besides Rick pitino who is like 74-75) then Will Wade or Chris Beard would be better options. Probably Beard and then Wade, but both are good (wade has more legit baggage, and beard is a better coach).

For many of us it's not just a story. It's something we witnessed (albeit on tv) and will never forget. The physical injuries changed the lives of some of the players. The emotional injuries were probably just as bad, not only for the players but also for a great coach. And the B1G conference responded with a slap on the wrist to those who had committed assault.
Musselman coaching at tOSU should never be considered.
Forever, that Minnesota team and their coaches defined themselves as low-life. The Ohio State and Minnesota university administrators as cowards. The Big Ten and NCAA as bags of dog crap. That story and those bastards should never be forgotten.
