Arkansas 27, AUBURN 10 (final)

Going into the week, Wake Forest led the ACC...are they really in the top tier of that league? Don't think so when they finish 7-5...same as Arkansas.

Fair point, but Wake Forest had only played one ACC team coming into this week: Duke. Arkansas is now 3-0 in conference play.

Also a fair point, but they've beaten 0-3 (conf) Vanderbilt by 2, and 1-2 (conf) Alabama by 1, along with pulling the giant upset of Auburn. It would be akin to a team saying they were in the PAC 10 elite because they beat Stanford by 4, Oregon State by 2, and then upset Cal. While that might mean they are off to a decent start, I'm sure you wouldn't say said team was on par with USC based on that, and neither would I.

At the very least, I think we can say they are middle-tier. I would say they are more like the upper-tier SEC teams than they are like the Vandy/MSU/Kentucky/Mississippi crowd.
