3rd & 3, Arizona is on the fringe of FG range with about two minutes left. Foles' pass is batted back and he catches it. He scrambles to his right, and throws it for first down yardage. Throwing a second forward pass is a penalty though (don't see that one too often). Loss of down at the spot of the foul. That takes them out of range for a go-ahead FG. They had to go for it on 4th & 17 instead, and it's incomplete.

Cal takes off for a long TD run on the first play after that.

That's the second game this year that Arizona has lost on a bizarre play (Washington).
