Ariz St +17.5 at Oregon (ov/un 48.5)

James with a 51 yard run. Looked like he probably stepped out of bounds at one point, but they snapped the next play within seconds, so no review (smart by Oregon). He's an amazing athlete, and I love watching Oregon's offense when they're rolling.

Hopefully they aren't when we play them in November...

Oregon really seems to do a great job of teaching ball fakes. The QB's will put it right in a RB's belly and take it right back out. I've seen them play at Washington in 2007 and 2009 year and granted, it was against the Huskies, but both years I had trouble figuring out who had the ball, and I had good seats.

Our linebackers are going to really have to be on their toes. I don't know how much film study will help, i.e tendencies, etc.

Yep, the camera man is always confused  and so am I.

I would really like to see JT go over to Oregon and talk to their coaches, compare notes etc like coaches typically do. I don't want us to run Oregon's offense, but it would be really valuable if TP could do ball fakes like Oregon's QBs always do.

Of course, as I write this, Oregon's QB throws a screen into Az st.'s hands.

Yeah.. why wasn't he starting against Boise? Did they just not realize what they had in him?

No, the coaches were really excited about him but Blount was a senior coming off a 1,000 yard 17 TD season. They were expected to split carries like they did with Jeremiah Johnson and Blount the year before.

Oh I see.. Do you think he'll get heisman consideration next year? He's electric.

...As is their quarterback, what a throw!
Oregon's offense is flat out scary when they are in rhythm.
