Ariz +6.5 at Washington (ov/un 70.5) Sat 10:30 ET, FSN

Disclaimer: What follows is from spreadsheets, not opinion. It is not a recommendation for how to bet your v$.

Differential Statistical Analysis is defined in the Stats thread which is currently on the front page of the Buckeye Football board. It provides a pair of "predictions" for yards and points for each team.

Wildcats: 32.9 to 41.1 points and 497 to 523 yards
Huskies: 36.2 to 52.6 points and 490 to 625 yards

Commentary: The huge disparity in the predictions for Washington's output comes from a large disparity in the traditional and differential statistics posted by the Arizona defense. For example, the Wildcats are ranked 112 in the nation in Scoring Defense (when all FCS games are thrown out for all FBS teams), but are 64th in Differential Scoring Defense. The disparity in traditional and differential stats for Arizona's defense comes from the fact that they have played a RIDICULOUS slate of offenses. They have already played Stanford and Oregon in conference an Oklahoma State was one of their non-conference foes. The lower numbers are the ones that use their Differential Stats, so I would expect these would be closer to the result we see tonight.
