For whatever reason, I'm unable to DL on Ares. Anyone else have this problem? Ppl can upload from me, but I've not been able to DL for a while now... just hangs on "connecting"

No probably just a port being blocked. I dont know what ports that Ares uses, but I am sure they are not standard ones.

BM - yeah, I do have a FW running, it's worked with the wall before though...
I suppose it's possible my 3 year old has changed settings..
Any clue where I can find what port(s) I need open? I wonder also if maybe there is a conflict with my Bit Torrent stuff (Aureze... or whatever it's called)

Well I would first disable the firewall, then see if Ares will connect. I really dont know what ports it uses, but their website would most likely tell you.
