Can we spy on Area 51 via google's satellite images?

This guy thinks so

Use this location in Google's system to look around

1) Go straight up from the above location to see some weird green "circles"
2) Go left from the location to see some weird blast crater stuff

Who knows what this area is.

But its pretty neat to check it out and wonder what went on there.

The landscape is really fascinating anyway, with these weird dried up lakes, small sections of green surrounded by desert and mountains...

Overall just look around in the above location, its really neat.

I thought those circles were just agricultural land. I've seen that before all over the desert...easiest way to water an area of land is if its round, I guess...

Or they could be nuclear missile silos...whatever.

Those blast craters are massive, I wouldn't be surprised if thats where they did above-ground nuclear weapons testing in the 50's and 60's.

Those are likely legit pictures of a51. I've been in that area (when I was stationed at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas), there is a bombing range near there. We took a trip to the Al'e'Inn--what a little craphole. There are so many dirt roads you could take for hundreds of miles and never find anything. We did take a dirt road that led to a mound with a black SUV and two armed guards. Probably nothing fishy--just a border to the bombing range.

Those green circles are irrigated areas. Eastern Colorado is covered with them. Out here, they irrigate with 'pivots', which rotate around a central point, usually where a water well is.
It's called circle irrigation, real common in the west and southwest.

Those green circles aren't irrigated areas but rather dots to cover up the buildings in the photos since it's a secret base.
