I fully expect our streak to end today. As for scUM, they can rank 'em anywhere they want. Just find a way to beat that ass in November.

Does anyone know when last time that scUM was ranked higher than Ohio State in the polls?

It could very well happen again this week.

:(

In the AP Preseason poll of 2007 - TSUN was #5, tOSU was #11. They then lost to App St.

During a season, it was the AP poll of Sept. 6, 2005, where TSUN was #3 and tOSU was #4.

Ohio State's Top 25 run ends after 7 years

The Buckeyes fell out of The Associated Press college football rankings for the first time in nearly seven years, ending the nation's longest streak of appearances in the Top 25.
Coming off a 24-6 beating at Miami, the Buckeyes dropped from No. 17 in the media poll released Sunday. They had been ranked in 103 straight Top 25s since last being left out on Nov. 20, 2004.

Leave it to ESPN to make this a "headline story".

The Top 100

The Associated Press has been ranking the best teams in college football since 1936. Over 80 years and 1,103 polls, a total of 165 schools have been ranked and 44 of them have been ranked No. 1 (Minnesota was the first).

To determine the all-time Top 25, the AP formula counted poll appearances (one point) to mark consistency, No. 1 rankings (two points) to acknowledge elite programs and gave a bonus for AP championships (10 points).

1 OHIO STATE (1,112 Points)
