Not really... It's a nice piece of OSU history that you can put in a collection.

A collection of what? Things you didn't earn with your hard work over a college football career? Unless you're running a museum for Buckeye fans or purchasing them so you cna donate them to someone running a museum, it's lame to buy gold pants. There are many other great historical items you can spend you money on. FCB is right on the money with his assessment. While gold pants aren't necessarily religious relics, they do deserve a hell of a lot more respect than being bought on E Bay.
Would you of bought OJ's heisman trophy when he put it up for sale. I would of definately if I had the money, I would love to have something like that in my collection. Even though I didn't earn it it's still consider a collectors item if you can find them.
OJ's Heisman? Uh, no. For one, I would never allow any dollar of mine to go to that piece of filth. That would be like buying Roman Polanski's Oscar statue...but even worse. And two, owning someone else's trophy (if you're not a museum) is just lame.
