Anyone listen to The Herd on ESPN Radio?

he goes 10 - 12 here in Cbus. He has his moments, but then he has his rants. Hard for me to say he's better or worse than any other radio guy. My observation is that he "hits home" with a lot of people - meaning, for example, he'll rag on OSU's rabid fan base for being rabid, and he knows it gets to people he's raging on because there is at least a kernal of truth to it.

He's like a radio "smack board" in a lot of ways. But, he's also able to offer some legitimate insight as well.

I think he's the biggest Pacific Northwest homer ever. He always complains how they are always overlooked. There's a reason Colin, Washington and Oregon get pawned every season.

He also has a huge man crush on Charlie Weis. Enough said.

Cowherd has his moments, but he downrights sucks sometimes.

I get real annoyed when he just sticks on the same topic and doesnt let it go.

I think the reason I tune in is because he will talk college football all day long and seems to enjoy doing it, even though he sucks sometimes.

yeah I definitely like him better than Mike & Mike and Dan Patrick. Both are good but Colin's way more entertaining.

The only problem he does have is yeah he'll get on a topic and use it for about half of the show. Most of the times it's a good topic and it's okay, but I love how he rips MLB and WNBA. Very entertaining guy.

Cowherd is at his worst when he tries to talk non sports. He has zero pulse on current pop culture. BRING BACK TONY KORNHEISER!

Give Tony one season of sucking it up on Monday night football and you'll likely get your wish. He's funny at times but doesn't know much about football or sports for that matter.
