Did you try putting oil in the master cylinder? bucks4me did that once.

No I didn't!! That was my sister. I asked her to put oil in the car while I took a shower not realizing that she didn't know where you were supposed to put the oil.

Recommendation for anybody that does put the oil in the master cylinder, don't start the car or push the brake. This will save you from having to replace your entire braking system.

Okay so the "thudding" sound is only when I'm coming close to a complete stop, not during a quick push on the brakes. Also the "thudding" sound is only (this is going to be hard to explain) during one part of the rotation of the tire. And its kind of a cross between a "thudding" and a "grinding" sound. Also it doesn't ALWAYS do this every time. I did check and make sure the new rotor that I put on 3 weeks ago was not warped when I replaced the caliper on Saturday.

I'm to the point where I'm just going to turn up the music louder
I'm of the opinion that brake jobs should not be done by the casual dilettante home mechanic. Just too many things can go wrong that lead to really dangerous consequences.

Real helpful insight, I'm aware. Just please give me your itinerary for the next few months if you don't mind. And stay off of 270.

Easssssyyyyy...the car runs great, and brakes smooth. It just makes a sound here and there. Nothing big.

It's more than likely not the brakes (there is a possibility there, but unlikely and I won't do into it).

Is the thudding more than 1, or just one loud thud. If more than one it's probably your wheel bearing. You might have ruined it while your brakes where dragging.
