Gay-Rod hasn't changed from what he always was: a prima-donna, phony, selfish, childish, coddled superstar who can't get it done in the clutch. People just notice it now because he plays in a city that cares about & knows its baseball, and is always in high pressure situations. This was the same stuff that was going on in Seattle & Texas, it has nothing to do with Jason Varitek.
