Anybody want Google Wave?

I don't think Voice allows invites, but make sure you sign up on their page and it probably won't be long. I'd'a hooked you up if I'd been able, jwins.

BP's address, [email protected], has invites, too. Haven't tried out the system yet, but I can set something up if enough people want a place to test it.

BTW, if you get a Wave invite from someone, you will not have the ability to give out your own invites. You have to use Google's sign-up to do that (last I read).

I'd be interested in voice.

Also I accepted an invite for wave and it allows me 8 invites.

Supercalifragilisticextrabragadocious! :p

pm me with your email address, and I'll send em out. Takes a couple days for them to get to you for some reason.

As for google voice invites, you should just be able to go to the google voice page and request an invite. A friend did that and got one within 3 days. They do give you invites, but i gave all 3 of mine to family members.

I have been testing out the service for a while now, it's got a lot of potential, it's going to be interesting to see how it's implemented over the net. I have thought about doing gameday waves with fellow friends for some of my favorite teams, like Lakers games, etc...

I "googled" Google Wave, and I'm not quite understanding what it's supposed to provide. Anyone mind providing a summation?

Well, google views mail and instant messaging as conversations, the idea was to make a conversation piece that you could have real time, so you can read as someone types, recordable and the ability to play back the conversation.

Basically, wave is an attempt to make instant messaging, email, blogs, and forum posts into one tool that you can do all of the above with.
