Anybody ever had a concussion?

I just had my first one today. At swim practice. The coach was trying to teach us kick turns and I don't know what happened but I either hit my head on the side or bottom of the pool. I feel like crap right now. Besides the obvious head ache I have, I'm dizzy and earlier the room was spinning.

I already went to the ER and they gave me a medicine for the dizzyness(sp?).
 
two, the second one was playing basketball as i attacked the rim i had my legs cut out from under me on a fast break i hit my head on the older style hoops that hang down a little farther than what you see know, got flipped around landed on my head, it sucked.

hope you feel better teddy.

What was funny was that she was having us do multiple sets. I was on my 4th and last set. The turn where I hit at was at the short end of the pool. Like 3 foot water(maybe less). I had already done that same turn three times without flaw.

once, my 3rd year wrestling. we had this beast on our team, who always took it too far. he picked me up (i wasn't such a fat ass back them) and he slammed me down, right on my head. to this day, i still remember the ungodly pain and the double vision for the next few days.

Me, no. Wife, yes. She did it years ago when we were dating. It happened at work in the hospital and they walked her downstairs to the ER. I remember her calling me to tell me about it and she sounded like a drunk kid. She's no worse for the wear.

I had one about 5 years ago. I was playing a pickup game of football at the park a few blocks from my house. I went up for a pass and a friend of mine tackled me while I was in the air and the back of my head slammed on the ground. It hurt like hell.

I kept on playing, but I could not remember playing. I had no recollection of walking back home and I left my jacket at the park overnight. Had an insane headache that night too. I was find the next day though.
