Any Video Pros here????

i have an AVI file that is very dark, and if lightned would be VERY, VERY cool....anyone know any tricks?

I'm not a pro, but you can try VirtualDubMod. It has a lot of features, but I've had problems with video quality with some of them. Xvid is the best codec that I've use with it.

The file isn't very big if you want me to email you a copy.

editing software should do the trick. Not sure if ones like MovieMaker or Pinnacle do it. How big is the file?

the video is 8.5MB, a little on the large side for emailing...

you can upload it to a file hosting site like www.savefile.com, one of us could download it, correct the color and then upload it back to the site.

windows media player can lighten a video while you play it.

if it doesn't help, i doubt any other cheapo program would.

open the file in windows media player.

click on view in the toolbar.

scroll down to enhancements

go over to show enhancements, click on it

go down to video effects and click on it.

now you should have a control panel in your media player, play around with the brightness and contrast and see if you get lucky.

dark video but pretty good huh, forget to turn on the night vision perhaps.

when i changed the brightness i could see the video just fine, but it wasn't nearly as good as i hoped
